Ms. Pannell was a Department of Corrections inmate on work release.  While walking to work in the early morning hours, she was murdered behind the business at 3401 N.W. 36th Street.  Investigators learned she was a model prisoner with no known enemies.  She was set for release within a few days of her death.  There were no witnesses and there are no suspects at this time.  If you have any information concerning this case, contact the Oklahoma City Police Homicide Unit at the number below.
