Ms. Cox was last seen leaving her job at a local convenience store around midnight on the evening of April 6, 2001.  She was driving her 1993 green Buick Park Avenue.  She was wearing black slacks, a pink shirt and black platform shoes.  The following day her unoccupied vehicle was found nearby.  Her body was discovered several miles away on April 11, 2001 in a rural area of a nearby county.  She died as a result of asphyxiation.
