Mr. Clark drove into the parking lot of the convenience store in
the 2000 block of N.W. 12th Street when, according to his
passenger, an unknown black male walked up to the car, pulled a
pistol and fired shots into the driver's compartment of Mr.
Clark's vehicle. Both Mr. Clark and his female passenger
were hit. Mr. Clark died at the scene and his passenger was
transported to the hospital for treatment. The suspect fled
the area on foot. Detailed reasons behind the homicide are
unknown, but investigators feel the shooting may have been gang
related. The suspect is described as a young black male,
short and thin with a somewhat muscular build. He had short,
nappy hair and was wearing shorts and a T-shirt. If you have any
