On July 25, 2002
Mr. Branch was found dead by a relative inside his residence.
Earlier the same day, officers responded to an assault and battery
call at the victim's residence. On arriving, they found him
beaten, apparently from a fight involving two other subjects.
Mr. Branch refused to cooperate with police and paramedics who
tried to assist. He later died as a result of those
injuries. Witnesses described two possible suspects as
follows: #1 - White male, early 20's, approximately six feet
tall, very thin build, wearing a blue and white t-shirt, blue
jeans and a silver necklace. #2 - White or possibly Hispanic
male, 20's, wearing black baggy dickey pants, gray t-shirt, short
army boots and a gold necklace. This subject seemed to speak
with the accent or dialect of an African American. If you
